About Saenz Performance

Saenz came into being back in the late 1940's when José Manuel Saenz, the founder, an avid fan of road racing needed to repair the transmission on his project car. He did such a good job that he soon began fixing more and more, until he established himself officially as a transmission repairer and builder. The word was out and teams such as Maserati and Ferrari ( Formula 1) along with the local racers used his expertise in their cars all through the 1950's. 

The company expanded over the years and interest in racing never waned as his son began a racing career that would eventually see him as the current head of the operation. His love of racing has further opened the company to expand to new areas adding connecting rods to the mix. When José died his work ideologies and ethics continued on with his sons, who took over as operating officers. In 1987 the company added a new machining facility and has continued to add the newest and latest equipment to keep it at the cutting edge of emerging technology. Saenz is also the exclusive Penske Racing Shocks Distributor and Service Representative for South America and the Caribbean, as well as distributing and servicing other racing related products.

Saenz's works closely with its customers so they can get what they expect from racing components, while keeping costs at a sensible level. We believe that dollar for dollar there are no better products than ours available for sale in the marketplace.
