The Result of 40 Years Experience and 21st Century Engineering -- AVAILABLE NOW

After testing the past several months with excellent results the Honda replacement gear sets for the H series transmissions are available for purchase. The tests were done with Lancelot Ho Lung and the HPRacing Civic and resulted in Lance’s first “Wally” trophy at the Dallas, Texas NHRA competition. After posting an 8.583 run at 174.55 miles per hour he won the final with an 8.569 run and 171.46 MPH topping his last years record run.

Ring & Pinion Replacement Set

The replacement set is available with an optional replacement ring and pinion now as well. It has a 4.35 ratio and is manufactured in the same Saenz process as the gear set. Call for pricing and delivery. An optional 1.05 ratio fifth gear is also now available alongside the original 1.00 ratio.

Work has started on the B-series replacement kit and will be available in coming weeks. It will be sold as a complete unit with ring and pinion included and uses the factory bearings and synchronizers as in the H-series set.

We have also received the first “dog ring” transmission replacement set for the H-series and testing will begin the second week of September. It incorporates the Saenz “ clutchless” shifted dog ring technology from our road racing transmissions and although it still has five gears is designed to use only four at the track. Gear ratios for the new set will be 3.091 for 1st, 2.0 for 2nd, 1.412 for third, 1.05 for fourth and 1.00 for fifth. The ring and pinion are the same (4.35)as the original replacement set above. The best thing of all is it still uses the factory case so that the whole drive train doesn’t need replacing. Based on our results with the first generation set we believe that great things will come out of the dog ring box as the freed up room from the synchronizers has gone into the further strengthening of the individual gears.
