Saenz starts with certified materials and processes those materials to get the most out of them. Particular attention is given to the critical components to insure quality, dependability and serviceability. Our gears are made from forgings, and not just one size forging but five different sizes so that we can take advantage of the properties that this process affords. Fiber orientation in the critical area of the gears strengthens and adds life to our gears. We also recarburize our gears to further enhance their microstructure and cryogenically treat them as well. To top it off we also skive our gears, (we remachine the gears after heat treatment to remove any deformation caused by the heat treating process). This gives you a smoother, tighter controlled gear that can better withstand the rigors of racing. Every gear that leaves our shop is coded so we can trace it back to how, when and what it was made from.

Saenz transmissions consist of two basic models with variations available. Our
840 model is designed for cars with torque outputs of 320 foot pounds or less and comes with a final drive ratio of one to one or with a variable fifth gear option. Our
910 model is for cars with up to 580 foot pounds of torque and with the same variations as the 840. The 840, because it was developed for smaller engine vehicles has over 170 gear ratios available. Our selectors are also interchangeable so that if you decide to go to a sequential shifter down the road you don't have to replace the whole unit.
Although our product line is for front engine, rear wheel drive vehicles we have also developed transaxial transmissions. If you have a particular project in mind we would be happy to make available our expertise.

TT Series
- Six Speed Transmission
|

|
|
Saenz Performance is always working on improvements and process changes to make our products better in every way we can. Tooling has been tweaked and the first
six speed transmission has finished assembly.
The transmission has been dubbed the TT Series and
weighs in just under our 840GTR Model five speed. It
is offered with the H-pattern and sequential shift pattern as our other racing transmissions do. The transmission is
rated for cars with up to 500 foot pounds of torque, higher than our 840 series. See photo of
this model below.
